The company was based in Northern Virginia from its founding until 2007. It is currently headquartered at 770 Broadway in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. Founded in 1983 as Quantum Computer Services, it has franchised its services to companies in several nations around the world or set up international versions of its services. AOL is best known for its online software suite, also called AOL, that allowed millions of customers around the world to access the world's largest "walled garden" online community and eventually reach out to the internet as a whole. At its zenith, AOL's membership was over 30 million members worldwide, most of whom accessed the AOL service through the AOL software suite. It was announced on May 28, 2009 that Time Warner would spin off AOL into a separate public company, which occurred on December 9, 2009, ending the 8 year relationship between the two companies. We provide weekly OPT In Newsletter to our customers and we appear to recieving a number of bounces from AOL, hotmail emails. Who do we contact to get on the Safe whitelist ? Asked by Welshy2007 - Fri Oct 12 03:43:52 2007 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. is every email to @aol or @hotmail bouncing? what is the reason for the bounce? you'll probably need to contact the postmaster for those domains unless the the block is with your email provider. if at least some of your email to those domains is *not* bouncing, then it is likely that a given addressee has either reported you as spam (and you will need to discuss that with the addressee) or deleted their account. the action you should take would depend on the reason for the bounce. for example, if the reason is undeliverable - no such user, then remove that email from you list. there's nothing else to do... that account no longer exists. good luck :) Answered by Gene R - Sun Oct 14 18:41:56 2007 Is it possible to get aol on my laptop and desktop?
