Dialogue (sometimes spelled dialog in North American English) is a literary form, the most notable examples of which in Western literature are the dialogues of Plato. Its chief historical origins as narrative, philosophical or didactic device are to be found in classical Greek and Indian literature, in particular in the ancient art of rhetoric. Its everyday basis and counterpart is a conversational exchange between two or more people. Having lost touch almost entirely in the 19th century with its underpinnings in rhetoric, the notion of dialogue emerged transformed in the work of cultural critics such as Mikhail Bakhtin and Paulo Freire, theologians such as Martin Buber, as an existential palliative to counter atomization and social alienation in mass industrial society. Ancient Greek philosophers, Plato and Aristotle at their center, engage in dialogue in Raphael's 16th-century depiction of The School of AthensFrom Wikipedia under the

I have a mock trial at my school and i am acting as the court clerk as well as the sheriff. I can't seem to find out what exactly the dialogue is between the court clerk and judge when entering an exhibit into trial. ok thanks!! but then what would the clerk say to the judge once bringing it about in trial again as evidence? Asked by gtown - Tue Mar 9 14:34:48 2010 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. You would actually have to enter it into evidence BEFORE the trial begins. That means the defense would also be aware that you reserve the right to bring it up in front of the judge. When you get to the point you want to make concerning the evidence then you would cite it as " EXHIBIT _ " and a letter correspondence to which piece of evidence you are referring to.
