Installing & Configuring Microsoft ISA Server on windows 2003 Server?
Q. I have a windows 2003 installed domain Server I installed Microsoft ISA Server 2000 to control the internet acess of the clients but i failed to do so...I installed ISA in integrated mode...i made Protocol rules but the net on the restricted user also running...Can anyone plz tell me the detaile for configuring ISA server and did i installed correctly in integrated mode or not...plz help my email address is malik_waqas84@yahoo.com or reply on these answers

A. OMG you r installing ISA 2000!!! man your network is not secure with that. it has too many bugs! hackers can easily hack your network. im not familiar with 2000 im using 2006 so as i know there no specific config in installation. configuring the ISA is easy on 2006 edition just define your networks ( internal= you LAN , External=Internet ) and define a user name and password for clients access also some rules to open the ports that you need. i don't know whats ISA 2000 looks like! so i hope it helps you! but i strongly recommend you don't use that. it can easily hack

I'm trying to RDP to our ISA server, i get to the log in screen and then get kicked out?
Q. The error is " To log into this computer you must have terminal server access permissions on this computer. By default Remote Desktop User group have these permissions. If you are not a member of the remote desktop users group that has these permission, or if remote desktop user does not have these permissions, you must be granted these permissions manually. " OK this is what i've done ( before i get sent to do stuff i've already tried and setup) I've set permissions on my ISA server to allow RDP connections from my internal servers - "http://technet.microsoft .com/en-us/library/cc7506 02.aspx" found here i got server manager to work i enabled terminal services and i've enable remote desktop i think i'm am missing a service that… [cont.]

A. You have your answer within the question.. "By default Remote Desktop User group have these permissions. If you are not a member of the remote desktop users group..." Go check your users profile on the server and be sure you are a member of the RDU group. Its simply a permissions issue. If you aren't a member of that group, add yourself.

A. First am not sure, your system seems good, but did you check for viruses and i advise you to check task manager >> processes to see if there a file consuming CPU or memory try to stop those with your user name and see if it works. not to mention that SP3 is not good
